This article explores the conditions that underlie the differential marking of Stuffed Animal Patterns objects in Spanish.It is argued here that the A-marker of the direct object is the realization of features in D (class and animate) and features in the verb (affectedness).These features must be part of the label Phi that dominates the VP.
